OPENING SPEECH – UABC MEET-UP
Good evening distinguished guests, respected panelists, and members of the UABC community.
My name is Eve Kayofa, I am the acting secretary of UABC. It’s a pleasure to welcome you to the second UABC Meet-up in UAE.
Tonight is not just a meet-up—it is a mindset shift.
Dubai is a city that rewards structure, strategy, and positioning not just hustle. While hustle may start the journey, it cannot build wealth, legacy, or influence.
The question we all gather tonight to answer is:
How do we move from survival to structure, and from activity to strategy?
Because empire is not about doing more—
It is about building systems, creating value, and thinking long-term.
We must also address one key challenge—trust.
No empire is built alone. Collaboration is strategy, and trust is the currency of growth.
We are also in a strategic moment with the AED 1 Billion Dubai economic support. The real question is not what is available, but:
How do we position ourselves to benefit?
That is why UABC exists to build a platform for growth, collaboration, and economic power for Africans doing business in the UAE.
Tonight, be intentional. One idea or connection can shift your entire journey.
Welcome once again.
It is my honour to introduce the Founder and the President of the UAE African Business Collaboration Platform, the visionary behind this initiative, a leader committed to strengthening African enterprise in the UAE.
Please join me in welcoming Mr. Seun Ashimolowo, the man behind the vision.” to take us on What UABC stands for
Please welcome Mr. Seun Ashimolowo.
Thank you.
