Good afternoon distinguished stakeholders, partners, and business leaders.
I welcome you to this historical event, the birth of African Business Collaboration in UAE. Congratulations
My name is Seun Ashimolowo, a Certified Business Management Consultant and Growth Strategist with over 24 years of experience working with entrepreneurs and organizations to build structure, improve profitability, and create sustainable growth systems. Throughout my career, my focus has always been clear — helping businesses move from survival to stability, and from stability to scale.
Studying African businesses in UAE for 4 years, I observed that many African entrepreneurs in the UAE are hardworking, talented, and resilient — yet often operating in isolation. There is limited structured collaboration, limited access to coordinated support systems, and limited unified visibility.
UABC was therefore established to address three major gaps:
Structured Collaboration – Creating a credible platform where African businesses can connect strategically, not casually.
Support & Access – Building pathways for funding access, partnerships, referrals, and business growth opportunities.
Visibility & Structure – Moving from isolation into a structured, recognized, and sustainable business community.
Today’s Stake Review Coffee Meeting focuses on two key things:
First, why UABC was created — the vision, the need, and the long-term direction of this community.
Second, the official unveiling of the UABC website, which represents our plan and process documentation.
The website is more than a digital presence; it is the foundation for membership structure, business pitch submissions, event documentation, resource sharing, and long-term credibility.
This is the beginning of institutionalizing what we have started.
UABC is not just a group — it is a movement toward structure, economic empowerment, and collective strength for African businesses in the UAE.
